Coast Watcher
Well maybe not really 22. I am pulling out my old work (for the show) and bringing it up so it looks like the same person painted it. Putting in more detail. Making the older paintings more realistic. I reuse my stretcher bars, so I am restretching everything. Because I have that option I am cropping a lot of the older paintings. They feel so static - super centered on the canvas. I still don't know when the show is going to happen, but I said that I could be ready after this weekend…ahhhhh! Late yesterday spreading everything out. Stretching some things back on the stretcher bars and breathing a little easier. Don't get me wrong I am really excited, and totally scared out of my mind. I have an art background I studied photography, but I have only been painting for two years. And really consistently painting for as long as I have been doing this painting a week thing! (I did a little look in my sections - since last September).
