trixie has loved how much time I have spent on the couch in the last couple months. She likes to take naps on my belly and help keep the baby warm.

*thank you such much for the well-wishes, the boy & I are grateful
*had a creative idea for the first time in months, I have been sort of giddy with excitement
{such a relief I can't begin to tell you how strange it was not to be creative. it wasn't like a block, but more like there was nothing there at all}
*sketched a couple ideas in my journal
*finishing up a painting for cannibal flower tomorrow night

I welcome the creativity with open arms. Have a fabulous {& creative} weekend. 

::baby does not under any circumstances like processed sugar, like cookies, candy…can't eat it, if I do it is given to the porcelain god.
{and don't think I am not going to remember when said child is seven & wants a candy bar as we checkout at the grocery store.}

::baby does like fruit & veggies
{I guess right now baby is a little smarter than me in the food department}

::baby had me resting for at least two months
{not so much resting as all I could handle was sitting or lying on the couch}

::I am going to be helping lisa s install her show in october, so excited! 

::the internet made me feel sick, hence my absence
{I am probably going to take baby steps back into posting, I think I can handle once a week}

::I am 13 weeks along 

::I am finally sort of feeling back to normal…well normalish.
{not feeling like I have to run to the bathroom every couple hours is a start}

::my ideas are coming back as well as the ability to follow through

::I am going to have a show at the bloomingdale's in soho…that just got moved back to october

::I think my year of beds might end up being six months of beds, I still have a couple rolls of film to develop {haven't felt up to getting myself to the camera store}…really didn't even have the juice to look through a camera

::my meeting went well, hopefully I'll have more to say on that in the next couple of months

::I really wish I could just eat one cookie

at the opening of the "off they flew" show, a benefit show for the griffith park aviary, which suffered after a fire earlier in the summer. each bird is $100 and it is for such a good cause. here is my bird in a tree:
