right after I snapped this with the holga, someone came in and wanted to be a part of the photos.

so I took this with the weltaflex…her lounging on the bed
I started taking notes with the dates, sometimes the times, and an idea of what the image was, so if I need to know specifics then i'll have some ideas. Also dropped off four rolls of film over the weekend, so I should have more beds soon. I'll be putting some more of the new bed shots (six) up today on flickr.
I hope everyone had a good easter. I spent it with friends, so it was a blast.
I will leave you with a couple links…
David Buckingham. I saw his work a couple of weekends ago and I loved it. It is simple and bold. Don't forget to check out his backstage area…working through the metal. The pieces are huge live and the work is really visually tangible.
And trish grantham has a new site. Her work in person is much more amazing. The resin and her style gives it more depth live. Make sure to check out the bilboard she did under commercial in the gallery section. How fun must it have been for her to see her work up so large. She has some of her smaller pieces up for sale.
Both trish and david have a layering and a process with materials that create a depth that is lost from the internet, because it is still cool when you see it online, but it really rocks when you see the work in person.
