re-working
first of all…no baby yet, but crossing our fingers for soon.
{wednesday is our due date}
to pass the time I have been re-working some older painting.
the first one for an auction for an auction in San Luis Obispo for the Cal Poly art department.

this is what it looks like now & what it looked like then.
{she is more realistic & a bit more blue & I made it a little smaller- it was 36" x 24" & now it is 20" x 30"}
I am going to be doing a small series of water girls…something that I can work at on my desk instead of larger canvases for awhile.
my fluffy helper…
I also reworked an older painting for the babies room.

then it was a much larger painting, but the personalities of the geese were my favorite part,
so I made it 10" x 30" instead of 30" x 30" to highlight the geese.
{I love the the guy in the center, while the boy is a fan of the second one from the right}
Hopefully the next post will be the information on the birth of the little one. Fingers crossed everyone!

The reworked water girl is fan-effing-tastic. As the poet once said: “That’s what I’m talking about.” Something is lost in the translation, of course, but you get the idea. No doubt, though, it’s impressive to see the difference between the two. When was the first one painted?
I, too, like the 2nd goose from the right.
Dear baby: hurry up already.
