word 2 of 30

perhaps (approx 4" x 5")
gouache on board
Even though I still don't have a proper place to paint or call my own (hopefully not speaking too soon) I seem to have uncorked the sketching. I didn't work yesterday and the Boy is still in nyc so I tooled around solo. It was a nice breathing space, to sort of fill with silent ideas.
Janel gave word number two. I feel like I stand in this position often. And I find that I am most often is this stance when I am between things. When I am pausing. I thought perhaps was a fitting word.
definition from Webster's new world:
possibly; maybe
