my new toy

she is a sweet little weltaflex…isn't she pretty?

She needs a bit more clean up, but I ran some film through and I like the effect. At the prompting of lisa s and gwen I am doing a year of beds. The light coming into my bedroom is fantastic…it creates different moods depending on the time of day. I take the photo after the last person (usually the Boy) is out of the bed. So sometime it is early in the morning and other times it is in the early afternoon. I never make the bed, but the Boy does, so if he gets in there before I take the photo the bed gets made.
I may be a little mia because later this afternoon I am picking up one of my younger brothers from the airport. He has been in Japan; he is a bit of a traveler. I am excited to see how his experience in Japan was.

Fantastic treasure. What creations you will find through the lense…I was a photography minor.. What a passion that takes over, picture making… Can you imagine negatives on glass?? I adore developing my own.. it is so fulfilling!!!

Oh my, your new toy is almost an exact replica of a find my boyfriend made at Goodwill the other week. It’s so nice to go thrifting with others and see the unexpected things that catch their eye, things you might not notice on your own.

And the ‘year of beds’ idea sounds very cool.

How interesting…this morning there was a beautiful light in my bedroom and I took a few photos of my bed, with the intention of photoshop manipulation, and now I just come over here and realise that you are doing it for a full year. Fantastic! Can’t wait to see how the whole project moves on as the light changes throughout the months. Like the idea a lot!
