summer means #4

fairies
every time I pass this this little tree mound on my walks with the little one all I can think of is fairies.
and for some reason summer makes me think of fairies. Maybe it's because I could read about fairies during summer vacation.
do boys believe in fairies?
{I totally believed in fairies.}
I guess they would have to otherwise you wouldn't have things like LOTR or dungeons & dragons.
{which in extreme cases lead to this}
the super extreme fans {the trekkies & ringers} totally fasinate me.

as I was walking back to the house this morning, the squirrels were out in force and not so sure about me walking through the park and not on the designated human paths. so they tried to intimidate me. This little guy kept coming at me standing tall, while another squirrel shook the tree branches above me. I moved on.

good morning everyone.

happy monday, dear friend!
having a name like wendy you’d almost HAVE to believe in fairies!!
wish ollie and i could have met with you for a walk! we went this morning to the creek. ollie likes to stick his nose underwater to search for the perfect stick.

Yes! Fairies, or maybe just little tiny people. That squirrel looks tough. He should meet the crows that try to intimidate me..they’re scary! xo

i watched a squirrel clean and itch himself in a tree about five feet away from my bedroom window for about 10 minutes this morning. he saw me but didn’t care at all. it was fascinating.
i knew a bunch of people in college who had a war game club. my boyfriend’s cousin was in it and i remember that she spent countless hours making mail– real, honest to goodness mail, for an outfit that she wore. her entrenchment in the roleplaying was sort of wonderful and at the same time frightening. Then she graduated, became a graphic designer, and stopped.

Fairies, yes, I believed in them as a child and still do… and by the looks of that fist photograph, you’ve found an entry point to their world… tread carefully.
I remember being wary of a ring of toadstools during my early school years… I was afraid I would have to dance until my death with the fairies.
Wishing you guys a restful weekend in the light, g xo

What are the red things on the grass ?
We have a large oak in our garden in Luxembourg , a warm friend of the red squirrels. They keep me company when gardening - drives our dog crazy!

i’m with lisa s, not fairies so much, but ghosts absolutely! although my father was very fond of telling me they “found me under toadstool” and that’s how i came to live with them
